How Yuppi works

To appear on Yuppi, every entertainer confirms an active business email address. We do not ask for identity documents.

The “Profile checked” label only appears when our team has also spoken with the entertainer and checked the main contacts and profile information.

Liability insurance is declared by the entertainer: if it matters to you, ask for a copy when they confirm.

Only people who booked that service on Yuppi can write a review, and only after the party date. That is why every review shows “Verified booking” and the party date.

We publish positive and negative reviews. We only remove offensive ones, ones with personal data or ones not about the party. The entertainer can reply publicly.

The average score counts all published reviews. We only show a score when there are at least three reviews.

With “Recommended”, results depend on: availability on the searched date, distance from the party, average score and number of reviews.

Some entertainers pay a boost to feature a service in one area and category. These results are always labelled “Sponsored” or “Promotional”, there are few per area and they are sold only where there are enough entertainers. Paying does not change the rating or the reviews.

Entertainers on the free plan get a limited number of requests a month: when they reach it, their services leave the results until the next month, so you do not end up writing to someone who cannot answer.

You can always sort by price, score or number of reviews.

Every service says up to how many days before you can cancel for free. You find it on the service page, in the summary and in your personal area.

For leisure services on a specific date the law does not give a 14-day withdrawal right: the service cancellation terms apply.

If the entertainer cancels, we tell you right away and help you find an alternative.
